Federal agencies require strong safety and health programs as a prerequisite for being considered for construction contracts. In order to build successful safety and health program, training and instruction from an industry expert are a key components.
Timitron Corporation (Timitron) is a proud provider of U. S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training for the construction industry and training for compliance with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers’ safety and health program manual, EM 385-1-1, Safety and Health Requirements. Timitron is also a provider of training for compliance with EM 385-1-1; these courses can be tailored to meet customer needs. Many federal agencies have incorporated use of EM 385-1-1 into their safety and health program requirements, which requires Site Safety and Health Officers (SSHOs) and other key personnel to obtain the OSHA’s 30-hour Construction Industry Safety Training credential.
Timitron is an OSHA-accredited outreach training provider for the 30-hour Construction Industry Safety Training credential. At the conclusion of each 30-hour course, students receive a certificate of completion and OSHA’s wallet card. Stand-alone, subject specific courses meeting OSHA’s requirements can be tailored to customer needs (e.g., hazardous communication, respiratory protection, confined spaces, fall protection, etc.).

Robert Crumpton, who is a Certified Safety Professional and an OSHA-accredited outreach trainer for the construction industry, with over 23 years’ occupational safety and health experience, working with EM 385-1-1 programs since 2005.
